ASTM D6866 services provider Beta Analytic continues to expand its global presence by setting up a sample forwarding office in North Sydney, Australia. This is the company’s fifth location outside the USA.
March 24, 2020 UPDATE: This forwarding facility has been closed.
“Beginning February 1, all our clients in Australia and New Zealand are encouraged to send their samples to our North Sydney facility. This will considerably cut their freight costs. All samples sent to this office will be sent overnight to our Miami lab at our expense. Through this office, we hope to strengthen our position as a high-quality ASTM D6866 lab serving the Asia Pacific region,” Beta Analytic Director Thierry Tamers says.
The North Sydney office will accept samples and documents. However, correspondence, billing, and payment remittance will still be processed at the company’s headquarters in Miami, Florida.
ISO/IEC 17025:2017-accredited Beta Analytic is a leading ASTM D6866 lab with offices in London, UK; Beijing, China (now in Xiamen) and Seoul, Korea. The company also has a local representative in Nagoya, Japan. An industrial application of radiocarbon analysis, ASTM D6866 is a standard method used to determine the exact percentage of any solid, liquid, or gas that come from biomass.
